Using Respondus
Respondus is a powerful tool for creating and managing exams that can be printed to paper or published directly to Blackboard Vista. Exams can be created offline using a familiar Windows environment and then exported to your Vista course. View a Demo
How to obtain Respondus Install password?
Respondus has a new licensing password for the upcoming academic year. Respondus users will not need to re-install Respondus, but they will need to enter the new password.
In order to obtain the password, log in to Vista and go to the course “Teaching with Vista” from your course list.
Click on the folder “Respondus” and download the Respondus install file if you do not already have Respondus on your computer.
If you just want the new password, click on the Installation password file and copy the installation password.

Using Respondus LockDown Browser:
LockDown Browser is a custom browser that locks down the testing environment within Vista. Students are locked into the assessment and are unable to print, copy, go to another URL or access other applications.
